The demise of Rasheed Balogun came as huge shock to all football fraternities in Nigeria who have however been expressing sadness and also sending their condolences to the family of the deceased and 3SC family. Akala Made Crown FC A Global Icon, Says Club’s Boss, Oyeleye |Yinka ADETUNJI| The general manager of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, Mr. Kunle Oyeleye has recalled how the former governor of Oyo state, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala who passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 71, turned the club into a global football icon. Oyeleye signing the condolence register Oyeleye led members of the club’s management, technical crew and players on a condolence visit to the family yesterday at their Opadoyin Akala Lodge at Randa, where they were received by the scion of Alao-Akala dynasty, Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao, who waxed philosophically that the will of God could not be questioned.
