The team had emerged from an average show as far as the first round of the NNL 2020/2021 is concerned. Although it might not be a 'wholly' impressive performance but quite promising  one would say the Ajilete Warriors has gone in delivery.


Played 12 matches,won five,drew three and lost four games(only away matches), the team was able to score 13 goals in total and conceded 10 goals in the first stanza.


The league in it's second round is definitely going to take the penultimate shape and Coach Oladuuni Oyekale boys are ready to make the best of the campaign having learnt a lot from the first round.


Abia Comets will be the guest at the temporary home ground of the team; Lautech Sports complex when the league resumes on Saturday.


The Ajilete Warriors lost 2-0 to the Abia based side in their last game but the Team Manager of Crown FC Mr. Suleiman Monsur has assured their fans that the team will win tomorrow's encounter with wide margin.


Mr. Monsur in an interview with the Crown FC media said that the team had taken some steps to boost their chances in the second stanza of the league among which he noted recruitment of new players.


"We are fully prepared although we ended 6th position in the first round and for us that wasn't  good enough but we are hoping we do well in the second round so we can gain promotion at the end of the day" said the Team Manager.


He expressed his believe in the new set up of the team adding that the newly recruited players will deliver.


"I feel okay with the new squad because we were able to drop few players based on their performances after the first round and we believe the new players will give us the best we want" he concluded.

NNL22: CROWN FC FORCED GO-ROUND FC TO 2 - 2 STALEMATE IN OMOKU TO EXTEND THE LEAD ON THE LOG.

|By Oyee OYEDEJI| Crown FC of Ogbomoso were yesterday forced Go-Round FC of Omoku to a 2-2 draw in their match week eighteen of the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League (NNL) Southern Conference Group B2 played at the Krisdera Stadium, Omoku, Rivers State.  The Group B2 leader Crown Fc with full of confidence began the game well but the homers GoRound FC took the lead fourteen minute into the game from the spot after the Ajilete Warriors dependable defender Oluwole Johnson brought down the Omoku side forward in the penalty area but the Warriors save hands couldn't rescued as the first half ended 1 - 0. NNL22: CROWN FC SHOCKED CYNOSURE AWAY FROM HOME AS YUSUF TAIYE SHINES.

|By Oyee OYEDEJI| Yesterday, Crown FC of Ogbomoso grabbed their first away win of the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League (NNL) season with a 0 - 1 triumph over the host team Cynosure Fc at the PA. Oruta Ngele Stadium, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. Yusuf Taiye scored the game's only goal in the 20th minute with a volley that kept the homers goalkeeper unaware. Earlier attempts by the Ajilete Warriors in the 10th and 15th minutes through Abdulrafiu Taiwo and Clement Johnson all went wide. The Warriors did not relented in the push to add a second goal as the scoreline remained 1-0 into the break. Clement Johnson's 58th minute attempt and Ndedi Henry's 64th minute shot all missed the target.
