TAIYE-TAIWO ON TARGET AS AJILETE WARRIORS CRUISE PAST BAYELSA UNITED IN OGBOMOSO.

Yusuf Taiye and Abdulrafiu Taiwo scored in the second 45 minutes as Crown FC of Ogbomoso came from behind to beat Bayelsa United 2-1.

Crown FC came from behind at the LAUTECH Sports Complex, Ogbomoso in a rescheduled match week seven to move to the third position as two goals were scored in the second-half of the game which earned the Ajilete Warriors a 2-1 win.

Yusuf Taiye scored his first Crown FC goal at the 68th minute after Favour Martins had put the visitors ahead a minute at the restart of second half.

However, the Ajilete Warriors relaible wing back Abdulrafiu Taiwo on targets for Anthony Encho's side the 90+6 minutes into the stoppage time via a thunderous free-kick from 20th yard.
Anthony Encho at the post-match interview with Crown FC Media was ecstatic with a late win over Bayelsa United.

"It was indeed a tough match today, we knew it would be difficult and we prepared well ahead. We were still unable to convert scoring chances at the much-needed time as it affected us at the first half but I believe with some technical instructions at the training and inclusion of new players we shall get over this stage."

"The away team try to play us out of possession but I told the boys to put the ball on the ground which had been our style of play, and this gave us the sweet victory towards the end of the game."

The former ABS handler believed his boys will do well in the second round of the Nigeria National League billed to restart on Friday 13th of May, 2022.

"I believed by the start of the second round, the boys will increase their scoring abilities and do well in terms of possession."
