CROWN FC SETS TO TACKLE ROVERS FC AWAY FROM HOME IN IKOM

Nigeria National League side Crown FC of Ogbomoso hope to build on their impressive start of the season when they tackle Rovers of Calabar in the match week eight at Ikom Township Stadium, Ikom, Cross River State tomorrow Sunday March 27, 2022.
The Ajilete Warriors in their last five fixtures accrued eight points with two away draws, two home wins. Their first defeat was against Abia Comets in match week five which ended 3-1 at Umuahia Township Stadium.
Crown FC in IKOM for their fourth away match at the ongoing Nigeria National League 2021/22 season and the Head Coach of the side, Anthony Encho is optimistic of picking first three points on the road.
Encho speaking with Crown Fc Media in preparation for match week eight encounter: "I strongly believed victory is what we are looking up because my boys are hungry. Our desire is to pick away points as soon as possible and by His grace we shall achieve it. We are going there to give all our best and leave the rest to God."
Crown FC match week seven against Bayelsa United were put on hold by the NNL body after the club were initially put on BYE in match week six after Abia Comets loss.
My players are fit and ready for Rovers said Encho. 'We played some friendlies last week and I was very happy because I saw some of my players that I was expecting more from them, I seized the opportunity to working on some areas that needed adjustment and it really helped."
Crown FC are four points behind table leader, Warri Wolves with eight points in five games. The Ajilete Warriors are currently 7th position on the Nigeria National League Southern Conference B2 standings with a game at hand.
