NNL22: CROWN FC THRASHED NNEWI UNITED, ENDS SEASON WITH HOME DOMINANCE

|By Oyee OYEDEJI| Yusuf Taiye and Oginni Olatunbosun got a goal each in the Nigeria National League final fixtures as Crown FC thrashed Nnewi United 3-0. Oginni Olatunbosun's 72nd minute from the spot means the right back now holds the record for the team top scorer in a single season. Both players, Oginni Olatunbosun and Yusuf Taiye are on 7 goals, 6 goals respectively. The Ajilete Warriors flew into the lead after just 21st minutes as Yussuf Taiye flick in a header from corner kick inside the box. The goal separate the two sides as the centre referee signalled halftime break. Dauda Olalere and Oginni Olatunbosun were on target as Crown FC trashed Nnewi based team to finished the season on high note. |By Oyee OYEDEJI| Nigeria National League promotion major contender, Crown FC of Ogbomoso on Saturday beat their counterpart from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, FC One Rocket 2-0 to boost their chances with two league matches to end the football season of the 2021/22 Nigeria National League. Crown FC were caged and denied access into the final area at the first half and they were largely restricted to pot shots from distance. Yusuf Taiye, Dauda Olalere and Fabode Olaitan went close on three occasions, while Seyi Okeowo saw a low shot come back off the base of the left-hand post in first-half stoppage time. As Crown FC continued to labour in the second period, Head Coach Anthony Encho introduced Fredrick Etta and Igwe Uzo from the bench, and shortly after this, the homers made the breakthrough. NNL22-MW22: Crown Fc Cruises Past Abia Comets, Continues Home Dominance.

|By Oyee OYEDEJI| The Anthony Encho tutored side were in their best form on Thursday morning in one of the Group B2 of NNL mid-week fixtures as they defeated the Abia Comets FC by 4 goals to nil to continue their impressive form at home. Anozie Ugochukwu opened the scoreline with a nodding for the homeside early in the 8th minutes from a tailored corner kick by Oluwaseyi Okeowo before Sodiq Alamayo scored from a goal mouth scrambled connected from Henry Ndedi long throw in the 20th minute to seal the first half for the Ajilete Warriors. NNL SUSPENDS LEAGUE FOR ONE MATCH DAY.

The most important football league in Nigeria is looking at the possibility of ensuring a smooth,easy and fair end to the season which draws  near. The suspension of matches is only for this weekend.  Clubs are in the brink of gaining promotion to Nigeria's top flight,the Nigeria Professional Football league (NPFL) and as well demotion to the lower run of domestic football in the country the Nation-Wide League One (NLO). The pressure has become so intense in the battle for relegation and promotion and NNL considers it imperative to go for a break ,to enable it reappraise certain situations and developments in the league . |By Oyee OYEDEJI| Crown FC of Ogbomoso were yesterday forced Go-Round FC of Omoku to a 2-2 draw in their match week eighteen of the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League (NNL) Southern Conference Group B2 played at the Krisdera Stadium, Omoku, Rivers State.  The Group B2 leader Crown Fc with full of confidence began the game well but the homers GoRound FC took the lead fourteen minute into the game from the spot after the Ajilete Warriors dependable defender Oluwole Johnson brought down the Omoku side forward in the penalty area but the Warriors save hands couldn't rescued as the first half ended 1 - 0. Crown Fc Goes Top of The Log As The Warriors Beat Ottasolo In South West Derby.

|By Oyee OYEDEJI| The penalty scored by Oginni Olatunbosun in the 65th minute was enough for the Ajilete Warriors to beat their visitor's from Lagos Ottasolo Fc in the Nigeria National League match week 17 clash at the LAUTECH Sports Complex, Ogbomoso on Saturday evening. The encounter had gone goalless in the first half with Crown Fc domination but the tactical changes effected by Coach Anthony Encho in the second stanza changed the scope of the game with an improved cutting edge. It was a derby match for the Ajilete Warriors and a return of Oladunni Oyekale against his former club in his hometown. After a goalless half-time score with many attempts by the Ajilete Warriors, Anthony Encho's boys grabbed the much needed win courtesy of the team penalty taker, Oginni Olatunbosun.
