NNL22: CROWN FC PIPS SPORTING LAGOS, AS TEAM CONTINUES HOME DOMINATION.

Crown FC of Ogbomoso this evening took a huge step towards securing a promotion to the Nigeria Professional Football League as Oginni Olatunbosun injury time spot kick helped Anthony Encho's side beat Sporting Lagos FC at the LAUTECH football pitch Ogbomoso.

Meshack Dennis, who is not finding it easy at the league get tougher could not save the Ajilete Warriors after visitors were defensively cautious and discipline right from the kick-off.

Meshack Dennis, the team current top scorer with fours goals was unlucky after his efforts were denied by Sporting Lagos FC stopper on five occasion.

Oginni Olatunbosun, a reliable wing back was the hero of the day after he fired home from the spot at the injury time, after Sodiq Alamayo was fouled in the box.

Sporting Lagos FC struggled to create chances most especially at the second half, no thanks to defensive game tactics and instructions from the team technical crew.

At the Nigeria National League Southern Conference Group B2 standings, Crown FC have accrued fourteen points in nine league matches with a game at hand against Bayelsa United.

NNL22: CROWN FC FORCED GO-ROUND FC TO 2 - 2 STALEMATE IN OMOKU TO EXTEND THE LEAD ON THE LOG.

|By Oyee OYEDEJI| Crown FC of Ogbomoso were yesterday forced Go-Round FC of Omoku to a 2-2 draw in their match week eighteen of the 2021/2022 Nigeria National League (NNL) Southern Conference Group B2 played at the Krisdera Stadium, Omoku, Rivers State.  The Group B2 leader Crown Fc with full of confidence began the game well but the homers GoRound FC took the lead fourteen minute into the game from the spot after the Ajilete Warriors dependable defender Oluwole Johnson brought down the Omoku side forward in the penalty area but the Warriors save hands couldn't rescued as the first half ended 1 - 0. Akala Made Crown FC A Global Icon, Says Club’s Boss, Oyeleye |Yinka ADETUNJI| The general manager of Crown Football Club of Ogbomoso, Mr. Kunle Oyeleye has recalled how the former governor of Oyo state, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala who passed away on January 12, 2022 at the age of 71, turned the club into a global football icon. Oyeleye signing the condolence register Oyeleye led members of the club’s management, technical crew and players on a condolence visit to the family yesterday at their Opadoyin Akala Lodge at Randa, where they were received by the scion of Alao-Akala dynasty, Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao, who waxed philosophically that the will of God could not be questioned.
